I just had my 6T custom tuned, but he didn't touch the spark plug gap. Do you think it would help or hinder the program if i was to re-gap the spark plugs now, or wouldnt it make any difference?

So if i change the gaps to 0.89, next time i put my car in to the dealer for a service and i put the factory program back in, will it affect the running of it with the standard program?
Or should i keep pullingthe plugs out and bending them back and forward everytime i get a dealer service???

The smaller gap will be fine for the standard program.
The spark plug are not touched at every service so ask at your next service if it includes a spark plug replacement. If it does, then ask them to gap the plugs to your speck.
I was just discussing the whole spark plug gap thing with a very experienced Porsche and Mercedes Benz Technician.
He suggested instead of pulling the stock plugs out and re-gapping them, i could replace the plug with a 3 or 4 electrode Bosch plug for about $15-$20 each, That way the spark is spread out much wider, needs no gapping adjustment and assures if theres and chance of carbon fouling there will always be significant spark with more than one electrode!
Has anyone tried these type of plugs before or got and info to say why it wouldnt be better to use them?

I was going to pull mine out and try them but was told that the original plugs are quite good and there isnt much advantage in changing them. But I wouldnt mind trying them for my own piece of mind.
