I thought it was going to be a Garret T04 which is similar to the T3

THe Powerstroke diesel uses a Garret Turbo, I'm not sure which one, but it certainly gives a nice boost!

The garrett web page says nothing about that model turbo being water cooled yet ford states the one they're using is???? is it definatly a gt40 turbo????

3 sets of mesia have said it is a GT40 ball bearing (all Garrett ball bearing torbo have the GT prefix). Motor says they striggled to get past 220 with a 35, hence the 40 spec used.
The A/R on the turbine housing is only 0.5! That's smaller than SAABs and subes and GT-Rs use up to 0.8/0.9 don't they?
Oh, the power search is so easily begun on these beasts!
