XR6T at QLD500

Thanks to the people who organised to have to XR6T Barra at the QLD 500, very nice in black. I think it definetly looks better in the flesh and there were a lot of upset Holden fans out there when they rolled out the new C'door and it showed how fantastic the Barra is.

It was worth going to the race just to see that, but there was also the huge bonus of Ford winning

They were saying on the PA that this is the first public viewing of the new falcon anywhere.

The best way to show it of though would have been to chuck Lowndes the keys and tell him to take it for a lap. Might show some adverse tyre wear.

Yes, but they're on good old fashioned film so you'll have to wait until they're developed, sorry.

I have to say that i was blown away by the quality of this vehicle.
The style technology and finish on the new ba xr falcon will sell themselves

I had no intension of upgrading fo a couple of years as i was satisfied with the ride i have now( elxr8).But i found myself thinking on the drive home how i could scratch together some cash for a purchase next year

I would like to thank David the president of the xr6/xr8 club of qld and Ford (GP & DF) for giving us the chance to see the outstanding motor vechile in the flesh
