XR6T and SV8 comparo from NRMA

For those interested, unbiased "reliable" source.

Will be interesting to see how the XR8 would go :s4: I bet it will be the fastest out of the three. The guys at NRMA test them differently than weird car mags.

interesting fuel consumtion figures... SV8 quite a bit more of a guzzler on average.

Also good to know that the heavier XR6T has the brakes to go with it's performance.

14.9 seems a little slow for the quarter, but the in gear accelaration times look good.

Do they have a passenger in the car and full tank of fuel or something when testing quarter times?

For the XR6 - they've either got the consumption figures around the wrong way of they drove it round the city sedately and caned it on the highway hehehe.
