Hey fellas, last week I went into a Ford dealership and signed up for a new Citric Acid XRT UTE, I have been a Ford Fan since I was brainwashed by my older cousin when i was 10, and this is the first Ford i will own. I got it with Leather interior and I cannot frigin wait to get it.....i feel like a kid at chrsitmas time! How long u guys reckon it will take for me to get this thing??
Great colour for the ute. I drove a new silver one a few days ago and they go well for sure. One of the biggest things that impressed be however was the newer exhaust note in stock trim. It was louder and more meatier than the stock 8!
Ford_Crazy - from what I have seen on here, I think you can get a SIDO number from the dealer, hassle the crap out of them to get it, with that you can then track its progress through the factory.
Can someone tell me I am right or wrong on that.

Did ya go Manual or Auto? I went for the manual, an with an aftermarket exhaust mine will be louder an sweeter.
I was told maybe by christmas if i'm lucky but probly first or second week of jan for me 8, dunno if it would be any different for a 6T or not.

as Dellboy said, go talk to your dealer & get the SIDO from him. Once they have a SIDO, they know when the build date is.
I was talking to my dealer when my XR8 was being built & he told me "your motor goes in tomorrow", so they know where the car is on the line.
BTW the build date I was given when I was given my SIDO was spot on (sept build)

THE GUY RANG ME THE OTHER DAY from Ford, he will have one coming in this week, it has premium sound though so i have to cough up six hundred bucks, which is all sweet!!!! But im thinking it is a car that someone ordered and cancelled...why else does it have premium sound and stuff
