No best times are around the 13.9-14.o flat. From a 25km roll you bet he was on boost, that really supprised him when i asked for a rolling start & won.

Best times ive seen for the boss motors BA XR8= 14.4 BA GT 13.9, 14.2 and a 13.7 but havent seen a timeslip for it. BA GT-P MK II= 13.8

It's a real GTI-R, could the other bloke drive that raced the T. I know 2 peole with these little boost buckets and one is supposdly capable of mid to high 12's, fact is the owner cant drive it and has only managed a 13.8 as a best.

Same bloke on the forums who ran 13.8 ran a 13.6 with ONLY a CAI.

No problem, how heavy is a gemmi. I have no idear but a rough guess would say it should be lighter than a GTI-R. So by stock internals can i presume it was boosted as well 14psi.

Btw i didn't know factory handbooks from motor compaines qupted 1/4 mile times

Are you sure he didn't let you win?

The fastest thing I have beaten is a 260kw Maloo, I was only the tiniest of margins fast from 100kmh, but from a stand still (same for the XR8) 1st gear I pulled a car length from 2000rpm then a tad more in second, then it matched the Turbo (or so it would seem, he was behind after all) forever on.

We raced three times, every time I won, both cars manual. Same for the XR8 ute, three times I won by much larger margins.

VYII SS, manual, matched to 100kmh, pulled in front from there on.

14psi R32 - hosed, over and over. !st time was with 1500kms on the clock, second time was with 8000km and I made him look stupid!

Lancer GSR 4wd, matched to high speed, rolling start, got hosed to 60kmh, was 1 car in front by 100., so much higher MPH by that point.

Beaten only by a Twin turbo supra, real old one, got hammered something stupid. And a old HQ Monaro with a massive bug catcher on the front.

My GF was in the car for all the races, so I have a witness LOL! I am going to start video taping them i think.

I want to get beaten by an XR8 though, I would feel honered to be smashed by a BOSS, it would make my day. They deserve to be in that position anyway.

Your a weird one YOOT, but to be honest I feel the same when driving the TT Supra.

Sorry it took so long to answer, but the truth is the gem. is 1100 kilo's and only 10psi. the GTI-R came with 3-4 different power outputs so i suppose it depends which one.25km/h he would not have been on boost. And 1/4 mile times are not done from a rolling start. Anyway each to their own it's an XR6T for me.
