However, it depends on a lot of things: how many options, on road costs, whether or not you had a trade in, whether they knocked anything off the price, whether it was an order or off the floor, etc.
Put it this way, the retail for my NA XR6 as seen below was about $49K and I got it for $43K on road. I also got rear electric windows as standard on T. So if I had gotten T with those options, I would have picked it up for maybe $48Kish.... Oh and I also got paint protection, interior protection, alarm, wheel sensors - I didn't trade in, sold my previous car privately so got the best of both worlds - good price for old car and good deal on new one. They also tinted my sunroof and gave me some free XR mats.... That price also did not include insurance or my custom plates.
I think I got a good deal, but who knows....
Just go enjoy your T, lucky bugger!!!

For a Ford, see Dean (AKA RATT) at Peter Warren Smithfield for a great deal...
You can get second hand Turbo's for $39,980 with less than 20,000kms on the clock. I was going to purchase a brand new Subaru 2.5i but it was going to be $38,000 on the road. I have now decided to purchase a 1 year ol XR6 Turbo in a couple of months instead for no more than $40K. Can't bloody wait, just got to pay big for insurance for under 25!

i would have to say Ratt looked after you very well.
retail on the road would be $50k plus did you buy him a
I know I have seen second hand 6t's going on the carsales site for as low as 36k with 40,000 on the clock. Im thinking of doing something like that and keep my eyes open for a bargain.
Would there be anything I would need to look out for going this way?
