Once I was watching bike racing on Speedweek. A guy on a Harley Sportster WENT AROUND THE OUTSIDE of a guy on a Honda RC51. The morale of the story: It all depends on the driver (or rider in this case)
If the gut in the nissan was a clutch wanker who bogged it off the line and shifted from second into fith or something then its possible. Also, if it was a rolling start the ford could get up, due to its excellent torque throughout the rev range.
Having said all that, I'd go with the consensus here and say it was probably a GT-t
Hold on a minute! If my good old V8 leaves the GTS behind, why should the XR6T be just good for a GTS???I believe this guy story, he said it had GTR badge on it.
Won't be long till the XR6T will be everywhere like WRXs, and that would shut them up.
