XR6T vs VY SS Insurance

Did anyone else spot this in the November Wheels

XR6T insurance $1200 odd

SS insurance $2500 odd

Seems like a sweet deal made sweeter

That's about right for my area too.

I was a little surprised, but very happy. If only they could make my XR6T quicker.

I did. Actually it's our chance now,I'm sure they'll change their mind after some ricers start to buy it and have some accidents!
I quoted my insurance on the XR6T to be $1500, $2800 for the AUXR8!So this new turbie thing is a winner by all means.

Fairmont Ghia V8 $1010 v Calais V8 $1280 =$170 less

TheBow had the right interpretation, but i wouldn't say no to a faster one.

Can you buy a car using your credit card? Do ford dealers have the facility to do a credit card transaction?

as i've said before in other posts, i hvae purchased an xr6t ute and i got my insurance through ford insure and they gave me insurance for $940! i am 21, and they gave me a rating 1, they took a little bit off because i got my ute with employee discount, but without the discount it would hvae been around $1000-$1100
i think everyone buying a new ford should get there insurance through ford...

Shop around mate, trust me sometimes you can get a very good deal. City Ford in Melbourne should start to have the Turbo by now.And make sure you know what date exactly the delivery will be, otherwise you poor thing you'll be VERY inpatient:)
