28, 29 pickup cab
I have two 28 or 29 pickup cabs. One has a larger rear window and is set up with tudor bucket seats. The other has the smaller rear window and has a bench seat. I was told many years ago by a fellow that ran the OLD McDaniel's ford parts in Atlanta ga. that some of the very first production models used the separate tudor type seats and had a larger rear window.
The cab with the smaller rear window and bench seat also has a door latch handle that sticks up vertically just inside of the window to the rear of each door unlike standard model A door handles which are on the inside of the door. Looks like a tudor front seat forward with the larger window back section of the cab.
Anyone have any information on these cabs. The large window and the small window cabs are squared off 28 / 29 styles but one window is much larger than the other.
I have beds for both but you never know what type of mix match has occurred over the years.
The bench seat cab is headed for a RAT ROD. I other is a complete truck. Just wanted to understand what I have here.
thanks
Bob
