joesal Registered User Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 1	Do hydraulic brakes on a Model A reduce its value? I have a chance to buy a 1930 Model A cabriolet. It was brought to this country from Chili. The motor still runs. Everything is there but the car is in need of retoration especially the cloth converible top. The only thing not original is that it has hydraulic rather than mechanical brakes. Will the hydraulic brakes reduce its value? The seller is asking $8500. I am hoping to talk him down in price. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
