From August 24 till October 4 the centenary of the Ford model T will be celebrated at the Mahymobiles museum in Belgium. Ghislain Mahy started collecting cars in 1944 with a 1921 Ford T; today the Mahy collection counts hundreds of cars from all over the world. A small but quite complete and informative exhibition will show visitors the history of the model T. Standing between several ‘real’ examples of the model T, you will be informed about many topics concerning this ‘car of the century’: its technical details, its production, its many versions, Henry Ford, the T in movies and literature and the T as icon and idol.
On Saturday September 27, all T owners are invited to visit the museum and show their car to the public on the huge parking place (free picnic for T-owners who announce their coming).
