Is this a Model A buried in my back yard? (pics) - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

We moved into our new house last summer but didn't have time to explore the property until this year. I've found a Model A grill and what might be a flattened Model A hood, but I've started to did this out of the ground, and I'm wondering if (with the limited amount exposed so far) someone can determine if it's a Model A Fordor? This is my first post on this forum, so I hope I can post pics correctly. Thanks.

WOW! I don't know what it is, but sure would like to see pics after the body is exhumed.

I wonder if any old gangsters from days past ever went missing in your area?

Neat. Up north on my 64 acres backing onto crown land (95% bush/treed) I found two older AMC cars, engines were removed, but the bodies were in decent shape considering they hid the cars in old, dead trees and the like. I phone them in to see what would come back, and one was bought and left there by the previous land owner, but the other came back as a stolen title, but after the cops spent a day at the site, they took what they needed and left the rest. Now that the bushes and stuff have been removed, they've rusted a LOT over the last two winters - nothing new there.

Yep! 1928-29 Model A. Looks like a Tudor. I am building a 29 Coupe at the moment.
Love to see it when you get it out.
