Model A electrical help
I went out to my garage to start my 1931 Model A about a week ago to just let it warm up and idle for a little bit. It started on the third crank and proceeded to run smoothly over the course of a few minutes. I flipped on the headlights to check to see if they worked, but when I flipped them on, all I got was a flash of the lights followed by the entire car shutting down. I tried to restart the engine, but the car refused to start. The starter still works and cranks the engine over, but for some reason I can't get the car to start. The way the lights flashed on and then died makes me think that I blew a fuse, but the one fuse I checked looks as though it is in good condition. Does anybody have any advice, wisdom, or thoughts on what the problem could be? The car is supposed to be used in an upcoming wedding in a few weeks, so any help is greatly appreciated!
