All,

I am a new model A owner and I have a question concerning carburator rebuild specs.

I need to rebuild the carb on my 1930 A, but the only instructions that I've seen refer to the Zenith Carb. I'm pretty sure mine is a Tillotson Carb.

Any one know where I can get complete rebuild instructions, including specifications and measurements for the Tillotson? Is there anything on-line that can be downloaded for free?

I don't know of any Tilotson sites, but if you get the book
"The Model A Ford Carburator" available at most Model A parts houses, it'll have a section on them. It costs about 6.00 and well worth the money.

Speaking of Tillotson carbs, My father-in-law owns a 1930 A and needs to know the specs on the float highth setpoint. I am going to purchase the aformentioned manual as a gift but I was wondering if anyone might know it off hand. Thanks !!!
