ton truck drive shaft

g'day im building a t truck and i need to make a drive shaft i have got three diffs and all the drive shafts have been taken for crowbars all i need to now is the front the same as a car shaft as i have one of them and what is the overall length of the shaft and if the drive end is different i will need some measments of it any help would be grate

Front is as car, but rear is splined and fits into muf coupler which fits worm drive, no idea as to standerd lenght as ours is cut down because of transfer gearbox for overhead drive. Don't know where you are, but in UK shafts are fairly easly availible.

thanks i am in Queensland australia and i havent found any shafts bar one witch i gave to a mate as it was all he needed to finish his truck there is bits of a truck about 600km from here but most of the trucks i or people i now have found dont have the shaft as thay were sort after to make into crow bars if i new the shaft was there i would go and get it but with fuel $1.50 a leter it will be cheaper for me to make one is the bit just behind the squair drive at the front of the shaft the same diamiter as a car the squair and the spline are no drarmers i just need a length and a diamiter to go inside that torque tube bush thanks for your reply
