Re: 1972 Torino

Hey guys, after a long winter, i decided to put a chain and gears in, replaced
valve retainers and rocker arms, i am still running stock 1.73s, we ran Coys street machine shoot out were i went 3 rounds, dropping 2-3 tenths per round------------- damn! factory cobra jet convertor for the c 6 was going away, out of the cob webs my tci 3500 stall converter that was customized to a 4000stall on the break by a long time freind now dead( RIP Karl) the car is 4075 lbs with me in it. Remember this is at 8000 foot air density runs 14.9. 18 year old build, never needed to do anything to it. so new converter 1st pass 14.5 spinning hard, just relearning to leave with it.
i am running phil long fun ford week end the 29th were i went 6 round in 06, i will fill ya in after this week end.
