65 4 door intermittent short in dome lamps

One problem I found on my 65 4 door- the rear doors have wire guides that are stationary, and move into a hole at base of the doors- as door opens/closes the wire kinks at the hidden inside edge of this tube, and gets intermittent ground. Hit a bump, it grounds, open any door, fuse blows...Both doors on my 54000 mile car had same problem, so I'm pretty sure ALL 65 4 doors, and most likely any other year with stationary guides will too...bad design. Replaged the wire, looped inside door, but when you see how far it moves when opening the doors, its going to happen again...
