i have a 66 galaxie convertible and the top stopped working last fall. i am getting it ready for the spring and am not sure where the problem is. there does not seem to be any power coming to the top motor according to my tester and i did not see a fuse under the dash. would a fuse be placed anywhere else? i also had to drain the fluid to get the top up before putting it away. is there a process for filling the lines do i need to bleed them like brakes? any help is appreciated as it is time to get it out again.

I'm not quite sure where the fuse is but I do know to fill it up all you have to do is take the plug off the reservior and full it up and move the top up and down a few times to get the air out then fill it up 1/4 inch below to plug with the top up.

I was looking around on my 65 today and the circuit breaker for the top is hooked up to the starter solinoid on the feneder well.
