First Class Safety Upgrade For Ford Galaxy
First class travel has never been safer, thanks to a series of safety upgrades to Britain’s premier large MPV, the Ford Galaxy.
Key safety technologies have now been standardised across all Ford Galaxy models, from entry-level 2.3-litre LX to range-topping 2.8 V6 Ghia.
Side thorax airbags and side curtain airbags from Ford’s acclaimed Intelligent Protection System give greater protection for all occupants, while drivers benefit from a Mondeo-style Electronic Brake Assist and new ‘smart’ indicators, which automatically flash a minimum of three times every time the indicators are activated.
These additions complement the ABS, driver and passenger airbags and 3-point seat belts for all occupants' already standard equipment on all models.
The Ford Galaxy continues to offer first-class travel with an extensive list of technology options, including a fully integrated DVD-based multimedia system, advanced satellite navigation and cabin-variable electronic climate control with controls for both front and rear passengers.
“We’re determined to ensure the Ford Galaxy is a first-class travel experience, whether your trip is business or pleasure,” explained Keith Kershaw, brand manager for large cars, Ford Motor Company Limited.
The Ford Galaxy is currently available from £16,745 on-the-road, via Ford’s generous autumn cashback offers, valid until 14 January 2003.
