Found 1959 ford fairlane

Hello all...on my journeys yesterday i stumbled across an old 1959 Fairlane in an old barn...the car is originally from texas and hasent seen the road since 1983, i was wondering what kind of motor was in it...the firing order is 15426378, i was thinking either a 292 or 312 im not certain, i was also wondering what a car like this would be worth...

Re: Found 1959 ford fairlane

First you need to know whether its an FE block or Y block. Car came originally with a 223 6 cyl., 292 y block very few 312 y blocks and a 332 fe block and a 352 fe block. All my y blocks and fe blocks have the 15426378 firing order. Start with the block configuration and then you can narrow it down or get me the vin number and I can tell you what motor tranny and rearend gears. I only own 59 fords so I can help you out. I just hope you get this info.
