Hamburger Registered User Join Date: Feb 2011 Posts: 5	Ignition Issues I installed a new OEM style ignition, switch and pigtail last weekend and it worked great all week. Then today I got home and turned the ignition off, and the oil light came on and the gas gauge stayed up, as if it were in the on position after the engine shut off. I could pull the key out and it would stay like that. After I switched it to the ACC position, the lights and gauge went out, and then I could switch it back to OFF and it would stay like that. I played with the wires and the switch, but it keeps doing that. How do I make it stop doing that? I know I'm going to get out one day and leave the car still technically on.
