looking a '67 Fairlane GT for sale - questions.
Hello, I am looking a '67 Fairlane GT... I partially decoded the date plate and have found that this car is an original GT, but is/was a 289 car instead of a 390 car, as the hood indicates. The current setup is 351W/auto... It's in pretty nice shape but needs a lot of TLC and detailing... What do these cars go for? I know it's dumb to ask for values but I can't find any information on the web to see if the price is inline.
The car needs most of the small chrome pieces redone, the interior redone (though serviceable). It seems very solid, it has new 1/4s, the bodywork is pretty good, the only work I am not impressed with is the repaired front floor pans. I think with a summers worth of work this car would be a very sharp looking driver... What do these sell for as a nice driver?
