Hi, i have a 1971 with 351C and I have replaced the cam with a mild one somewhere around 509 lift. replaced intake and carb (600cfm) and headers. The car runs like a champ at times and cranks right up. but other times it has a hard time turning over and runs really rough. I've adjusted my timing a many of times and still not real sure what is wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Why have you got to keep on adjusting timing ? is the setting changing / altering ? Take it you have load tested battery and starter ?
