I have a 65 LTD two door hardtop orginally red in color with black interior has 352 auto in it and will run and drive in yard been seting many years so would need some work to be roadworthy though not much has factory air and is basically 98 percent complete body and chasis is solid as it was a georgia car and has not been driven sense 1988 the bumpers are solid but would have to be rechromed this would be an easy restoration for right person it is located in upstate pa and i am asking 4000 firm for if interested email me at samueldonahue@hotmail.com

Yeah, its kinda sad...a fair driver seems to go for 2-3000, watching ebay, most field cars get parted out or go for under a grand if most of the parts are there...last time I totalled reciepts, I spent around 4000 to get the 4 door back in decent shape, and doubt if its worth half that- not that I'd ever sell it.

Maximum I would go on that car is about 1200-1500 bucks Canadian. If the frame is rotted out its only good for parts. About 12 years ago I bought a 64 XL 2dr hardtop for 500 bucks and it ran very well but the back end was rusted out. I have the windshield and tranny out of it in my 63 1/2, plus made my money back in other parts I sold off it.

I'm looking for a 1965 ford galaxie LTD hard top 2 door around the 2500 price restorable. I live in Washington State and was hoping to find one like the one I loved when I was young. trying to stay in a reasonably close location so it doesnt kill me for shipping costs.
