biggrin 1968 ford galaxie 500 2dr fastback (new project)

hi i recently purchased my new project car, a 68 galaxie 500. it has about 157k on the orginal 390 and has been sitting for quite some time so i am having to do alot of rebuilding and replacing of parts before it is road worthy. but anyways i was wondering if anyone could give me some specs on this cars. like wheel hp and 1/4 mile times from the same 2dr cars. i would also like some 0-60 times as well. Can anyone tell me where i can get a used 6-pack from??? :s5
thanks alot

Hi again, I have a book called Ford Galaxie & LTD 1960-1973 'Road Test' Limited Edtion from Brooklands Books Ltd. You could order yourself one through Motorbooks International, Osceola, Wisconsin 54020, USA, Phone 715-294-3345 or 800-826-6600. Fax 715-294-4448. This book has lots of good data on all the BIG FORDS. For you Aussies down on the otherside of the Globe, the book gives this address. Brooklands Books Ltd.,
1/81 Darley St., PO Box 199, Mona Vale, NSW 2103 Australia, Phone 2 9997 8428, Fax 2 9979 5799. Hope this helps all you guys out with the Big Galaxies. The books should still be available, if not they should be able to tell you where you can get a copy.
