What is the difference between a 63 and 64 galaxie metal dash? In other words if you have 2 stripped down dashes from each car could you tell one from the other

Both years are identical. The dash with the swing-a-way steering wheel I believe is
different from the standard dash. All 63 and 64 Ford and Mercury full size with fastback roof line are the same from the beltline up. All take the same window winding and door
parts inside the doors. All glass is the same. Some trim mouldings are different. All rubber seals for glass and doors are the same.

Hi the metal is the same,the Speedometer parts look very semilar but the platic lense and the background Color is white in 64-Black in 63 the trim has lines in 63,flat and frosted lookinmg in 64. Thanks JG.
