Butchart 63-1/2 Galaxie Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Vancouver Island Posts: 321	Re: 64 cross member I believe all transmission (automatic, standard 3 speed and 4 speed) crossmembers (rear engine support) are all the same except for convertibles as they have an additional X member on the frame and according to my shop manual the tranny crossmembers are shorter to fit in the X part of the frame. This would apply to 62-63-64 Galaxies.
