I have a under dash unit that I need to know the value of. That is the only part of the A\C system I have and would like to sell. I dont want to cheat anybody but I dont want to be cheated either, any ideas?
It's worth about $20.00. Without the matching compressor and the condensing unit it's
not worth much. If you can get $50.00 for it grab it but i doubt it. Try it anyway.

I agree with Chip. Not much of a market for a incomplete unit. You could always put it up on eBay and see what happens. Be sure to list it being sold in As-Is condition with no returns.
I actually forgot to mention some stuff but i have no idea of your rules where you are
but if the buyer has no C.F.C. licence or a refrigeration ticket they can't buy it from you.
if you sell it to them without proof of their CFC you are subject to a $2500.00 fine if caught. Drop it off at a flee market. Now you are safe.
