When we were kids, there was always a house with a great old car or three in front, and when you stopped to ask if they were for sale, what did the old guy say? Exactly. "Nope, I'm going to fix it up one day." and then we'd hate him as we watched them rust into the ground.
I've become that guy.
I'm not posting in the FOR SALE section, not because I wouldn't take a reasonable price, but because I'd rather see her go to a galaxie lover, not a car lover.
BAD - Severe rust to roof (Thank you vinyl top). Rust through around back glass. Trunk pan rusted through. Damaged DS fender. Not started in 14 years. Broken windshield (Thank you Ike)
GOOD - Complete all original. 390 was running fine, including AC. Nice interior from the buckets to the padded dash and all the chrome. Extra front clip. Good rear bumper.
So what's my point? Since everything is original and complete, I'd rather not part her out separately. If the body work is too much, this would be a great candidate to turn a Custom or a 500 into an XL.
