What is up with this padded dash and how do i change it out?? I want to buy a new dash, where do I start to take it apart??

Look buddy I just bought the car and I do not have a ton of experience at restoring a vehicle. So I am sorry I lack so much info.

I am looking to replace my 1965 Ford Galaxy 500 padded dash with a good/refurbished/new dash. I am wondering if anyone has a one or knows a good place to look or inquire. The dash is stock and the padding has seperated. I can see that the dash has 2 pieces and the one that covers the spedo is loose and blocks my blinker lights on the cluster.

Also does anyone know if the trim on the dash surrounding the speedo is removable, I need to repaint it.

Why not check the local phone book and find an suitable upholstry guy and pay a visit . might be worth the discussion .

found a full 2 piece black ready to paint or pad dash on Ebay brand new for $70.00. Thanks anyway. I will have to go to an apholstry shop for the rest of the interior. I still need a steering wheel, stock stereo and some lettering for the hood and trunk.
