I have a 69 Ford Galaxie XL with a 429, 4 bolt main trans (auto) bucket seats retractable headlight covers, 86k orig miles, runs perfect, factory a/c, etc....... had since new, special ordered orginally from Ford and a Southern California car have all orig docs. No rust no dents never wrecked a true factory muscle car!

I wanna know how many others were made like this? I can't find another like it anywhere on the web, magazines, etc... I'm trying to determine the worth of it!

Can someone help me out? I would really appreciate it!

Hi, I have a book here on production #s by Jerry Heasley printed in 1977. I would think its fairly accurate, seems to be for the 63 Fords. Anyway herewith the production #s for the 69 full size Fords.

I can't figure a 10 passenger wagon, but thats what is listed here. These numbers are what I have. Where did they all disappear to? The list does not have a breakdown of what engines were installed into the different models.

i got one exactly like yours.

doubt ford put four bolt main blocks in 69 429tj xl's but could be wrong.

nice underated muscle car.

69 429tj fastback consoles are fairly rare but not very popular. kinda big and kinda ugly but i really like mine and it runs good.

check ebay. recently saw a mint 69 xl 429 go for around $22,000.00.

still lots of standard 69 galaxies around if you need parts (atleast there are in iowa).

google "69 galaxie". there is some info out there.
