I was speaking with a friend of mine the other day who suggested that my convertible most likely has frame rail reinforcements and other strengenthing measures. True? False?

on the 65 the rear was boxed. theres info on lovefords.com about the 65-68 frames, basically all the same except convertible and station wagon were boxed, and convertible had extra front attachment. convertible only had bolts holding body to side rails, where others had rubber pads only- all frames fit, all holes are in them all(except those conv front mounts). rear springs bolt in on 65 only, and parking brake cable changes were made to tranny crossmembers.
