Hi Guys, need a bit of help and info please.

We have a 66 Galaxie that has the original inline six 240ci engine in her.

As good as the engine has been over the years it has finally given up the ghost and is causing continuous problems so we've decided that it's time to change the engine.

We are thinking of putting a 67 Galaxie V8 390 in her as we know of one that is good and a reasonable price too, what we need to know is;

1) Would this engine go straight in?

2) Obviously have to change the bell housing?

3) Would the engine mounts have to be changed?

4) Would we have to uprate the springs and shocks?

any info offered will be gratefully received.
