Re: Gold engine paint
Before 66 engines were painted according to displacement. For example, a 1964 390 4V V8 was painted all black except the valve covers and air cleaner, which were gold, similar to Castilian Gold. 1966 to the late 70's all engines were painted Ford Dark Blue.
