Re: Help,Need to find: Build sheet for 67 Galaxie

427tbolt, It is not unusual for there to be no build sheet accompanying the vehicle upon completion at the factory. The build sheet was meerly a tool to get the car assembled and there was no rhyme or reason to what happened to them after the car was finished. Many times they were stuck under the seat as you considered but again there is no guarantee that your car left the factory with one. That said, there are companies that will repro one for your car. All you need to do is supply them with the info on the form and you're in business. You should be able to google up someone that will perform this service for you. Steve

It's probably not a complete build sheet, but Marti Auto Works (Marti Auto Works - concours quality parts at hobbyist prices !) can duplicate the production data for 67s.

Re: Help,Need to find: Build sheet for 67 Galaxie

Hello, I have a 63 1/2 Galaxie and found one build sheet under the front seat. Now can't remember if I found the second one on the inside right rear panel or if that was one of the cars I parted out. But you would have to remove the rear seat to get the panel off. Check left side too.

Re: Help,Need to find: Build sheet for 67 Galaxie

I stripped a 65 about as far as you can strip a car(it was a rusty framed but unmolested car) and didnt find one- and I'm sure there was nowhere else to look...

did find spare dash trim under the carpet, extra nuts/bolts, some stuck in the seam sealer- they were more than a littly sloppy back then...
