Hopefully you galaxie guys can help. I have a 61 Mercury Monterey 4 door hartop (built on the 75B platform) that I am having an IMPOSSIBLE time in finding a windshield gasket for. Can someone point me in a direction for either the gasket, OR I would LOVE to have the part number this item. Please, can someone help?

Hi: If you can look at a 61 Ford Galaxie 2 door or 4 door ht the windshields may be the same as your Mercury and therefore the gasket or seal would be the same. Sunliners or convertibles could be the same. I have a 63 1/2 Galaxie HT
and it takes the same gasket as the convertible, but not the sedans or the box top
(squared roof line). 1963 1/2 Galaxies and Mercurys take the same rubber seals too. Try Autokrafters, Dennis Carpenter, or Dearborn Classics, they might be able to help. Sorry I couldn't answer you sooner, not on this sight too often.
