Hi, new to the forum. Question about 65 Galaxie trim.

1965 Galaxie 500 two door hardtop.
The dataplate reads as follows:

Color: C
Trim: 58
Date: 28M
DSO: blank
Axle: 1
Trans: 4

The VIN# is: 5P66X135203

Should this car have XL "stars" on the rear quarter panels? This car does, but it doesn't have the bucket seats and console, nor GALAXIE 500 XL emblems just GALAXIE 500. I notice from time to time a Galaxie 500 with the "stars". Was this an option or, have they been added later?
