On my 65 Galaxie500 w/ 390 I cant get my ignition to send any juice to the coil so no spark in the distributor, however i can run a straight wire from the coil to the battery and jump the solenoid and it will fire right up. The harness in the engine bay has been repelaced and i have no idea what to do to see if i need to replace the ignition wiring on the interior of the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you attach a test light to the connector to the + post of the coil and check for any power with key in run ?

I feel like a moron after figuring out the problem.. When they made the conversion from an automatic to a manual they never disengaged the neutral safety switch.. Once it was disengaged she fired right up and was ready to play.. thanks for the input though..
