Actually I own two Galaxies. Someone once joked that I had the largest collection of 4 door Galaxies in the world, with 2. Sad thing is its probably true. I love them both, one is a Maroon on Black 352 4 barrel model, but the nice thing is it has the better sun visors, premium AC unit, power steering, remote mirror, padded dash and the coolest thing, swing away steering!

The other is my Southern car with no to little rust. Also a 352 4 barrel, yellow on puke color. The cheaper AC, no power steering assist and no Swing away. It is the nicer of the two cars though and I am in the process of dropping in a nice new bored over 390 in her for the summer. The maroon car will either be scrapped or given to my son to tinker with since the body is rusting around the mounts pretty good.

I have a few questions. Why is this board so dead? It seems that there isnt very much going on. The other is, does anyone know where I can get nice preformed factory style carpet and headliners? Both are shot on both cars. Also, would anyone be interested in buying a nice set of seats and a padded black dash?

DO NOT SCRAP THE MAROON ONE. Some people will actually go to great length restoring these, even with rusted body mounts. There are many resto parts suppliers that sell Galaxie parts including carpets. Just start with Hemmings Motor News for some names. Ford Forums were very busy a long time ago. A dispute between Australian members caused many to leave. Things have picked up a little since the last update.
