I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the rear axle weight is of a 1964 Galaxie 500 2 door sedan. I'm converting to coil over shocks and need to know the rear weight so I can get springs of the correct rate. I would take it and have it weighed, but there isn't anywhere available where I live.

Don't have any info about the weight but I'd like some info about the rear coil over kit you are using.

It's not a kit. I am making it a "pro street" car and am installing a narrowed rear frame in the car, with a 4-link set up.
