You can supercharge or turbo charge about anything, just a matter of fabrication versus off the shelf parts. If your engine is reasonably high compression then you will only want to run about 6 pounds of boost otherwise detonation or destruction may occur (unless you are running performance parts) but the bonus is you can use a blow through system for your carburetor (easy to install) and any more boost you will probably have to install fuel injection. The hardest part of the install will be organizing all the pulleys but many companies offer these products so all you need to do is some internet research and open your bank account.
