what kind of wheels

would look good on a 64 galaxie? does anyone have pictures of their car with some wheels on it? Thanks.

and what type of offest/backspace should i get to be able to lower the car a little b/c it sits up pretty high right now.

Any reputable wheel/tyre store will be able to help you with that....

IMHO the 'torq-thrust-D' is the best looking wheel out there for a bit of a performance look, and are period correct for these cars. If youre going heavy custom, with wheel tubs/radical lowering, then the big 18+ inchers look really cool, but to me on a mild street car, torq-thrust-D always seem to look right.

Go to the Galaxie club website, www.galaxieclub.com and from there go to international show and scroll down to 1964, might see some good lookin wheels there.

I personally also like the Torq Thrust D rims.

A set of dayton 20 inch spokes .
Not everyones cup of tea but just what I would like to see .
But it would depend on what look you were going for I also like 67gxy look
