Having trouble finding 1/4times and 0-100km for BA 182kw Barra Ute.
Compared with an extra $5k for the 220kw, Worth it or what?????

My mate run his at calder, stock manual ba ute, he run a best of 15.7 at 89 mph..
it was still new tho..

Any cheap idea's to squeeze flat 15?
Been on this site for a day only. Sounds like exhaust and diff ratios
are some of the ways, but I woudnt call them cheap.
Please excuse my ignorance. Iam a novice at getting cars to go hard,
let alone driving a Ford Ute.
My selling point to Ford v Commy was of course the extra grunt.

You could always start with the air filter and a larger intake, it is early days for the Barra 182 yet, and most attention has gone on the Turbo & Boss engines.

I would spend the extra 5 grand an get the 220. Got more potential i reckon. Plus whipple do a blower kit for the 3 valve 5.4's !!
