Ford's hottest rig for many years simply didn't sell. Does anyone know why more than six months after these things were released Ford dealers here in W.A still have stock of new ones/demos. From the ads in the papers i would guess 3 or 4 newbies still exist in W.A. Surely there must also be some left in other states. Throw in a couple that have probably allready been written off and out of 250 originals you hardly have a sales success do you ? Post if you have seen one still at a dealer also if you have seen them second hand what sort of $$$$ are they asking.
A friend just bought a highly optioned one as a demo from a Sydney dealer for $48000 drive away. It had 3000km or so plus some mods including exhaust.
Much like the other AU3 models people stayed away because they knew what was coming (as good as the 250 engine was).

I also have a Pursuit Ute, it only cost me 500 bucks! It's a 1964 XM Falcon Super Pursuit ute currently under restoration though..
I think Pursuit Utes are unreal, all my Holden mates love them. I think they'll keep their value better than most of the Falcon range, with perhaps the exception of the seemingly icon Turbos.
