I would expect seatbelt mounting points and so on you require are already there, so getting it approved would be straightforward.

I do have the ute now and it is a BA.
You are right from advice ive been given a new fixed seat cushion is made up in matching leather. The centre console is cut in front of the cup holders.
The small back rest is hinged to form armrest which is essential for comfort.
I beleive the mounting holes are there for seat belt.
I have been quoted $1200.00 all up in matching leather.(inc Engineers report)
These guys have done a couple before for local Ford dealers.
I will post pictures once ive had it done.
