Just bought myself a Citric Acid 2003 BA XR8 Ute. Couple of Extras, Leather, Sports Bar, Manual Transmission (Yea Baby) and Personalized Plate PHLEGM. Just wanting to know what the boys are doing to lower these beasts ?
Any assistance would be appreciated. Perhaps even when something was decided assist in getting those parts to me in NZ.
got any pics of your beast? i was dead set on getting my BA XR8 Ute in Citric Acid but pulled out to get a more conservative blueprint. Congrats on the purchase. Love the citric acid.
BTW - I had a Herrods Suspension kit installed. It now looks the goods.
Guys.. if you get your ute lowered, waich out for gutter stops.. them concrete chunks that stop you from going too far.
i totaled my rear bumber skirt after backing into one.
cost $300 for new section!
paint was $120.. it was the most expensive ice-cream ever!
anyway, if this does happen, it will take you about an houre and a half to remove the fricken thing, its held on with about 3 tubes of silicone and 4-5 screws!
in the end, it was in about 30 small pieces and about 10 chunks.. we had to keep cutting it to get to the silicone!
