Are there any young guys (18-25) who drive AU/BA XR6/8 sedan/utes?
And more specificially, where do you live?

I am trying to get an idea of how much insurance would cost me if I were to purchase an AU XR6 ute/BA XR6 NA ute sometime next year.

Keep in mind I will be 21 next year, living in Sydney, Northern Beaches.

With AAMI - An XR8 Ute - Apparantly won't insure anyone under 28. I bought mine at 27 and they were OK with it - $860.00 for my first year. Shop around - best bet is to be a nominated driver with someone a little older as the primary policy holder.

Well i havn't got it yet, but iv'e been qouted $750 for a BA XR8 ute with Elders. I am 23, but that is done through a farm policy so it's probably not all that relevant to ya. Dunno wether Elders do insurance for non-farm related people or not.

Im 23 with a au2 xr8 and i pay $2200 a year with 40%. Only because someone thought they wanted my old car more than me.
