Anyone got a delivery date yet for their Turbo UTE??
Gee, harsh words. There is a set date for monthly orders and a corresponding set date for the allocated SIDO numbers. My FPV is due for January build and I do not have a SIDO as yet. That certainly doesn't mean your car won't be built in Jan. However, please respect the fact that everyone that works at Ford deserves their holidays like everyone else. Factory shutdown is until January 13 when everyone will be back at work making the cars we long for. That means if your car goes through FPV for any reason you should expect a delivery late in the month or early Feb.Rabnud said:Well I ordered my dealer's January allocated ute.
Whether it arrives on time is another matter. And seeing as my dealer can't get the damn sido number or a delivery date, I'm not holding much hope of it meeting it's January delivery :hrm:
Minge , Is that right that FPV will not close for XmAs.laminge said:and too add, FPV wont close down at all!
And I'd really want one that has had the nuts flogged off it by every pimply journo in the land. Secondly it is an FEV and we know what happened to the FEV in the COTY test.XR6MAN said:Haha i could get a turbo tomorrow, my dealer has one of the evaluation utes for sale. Its in blue print with the hard cover and spoiler.
Rubbish. I worked the game and often cars built on one day were loaded on a truck and delivered to the dealer by 8am the following day in Sydney. Problem I saw was the dealer stuffing around figuring what cars were there and when they were going to do PD. :zzz:gossman said:he also said i'll either have my ute by late january or early february! takes 3 days to build the car, but ages and ages to get to the dealers!
Oh, don't get me wrong, I know it'll be worth it.Aussie Pete said:Gee, harsh words. There is a set date for monthly orders and a corresponding set date for the allocated SIDO numbers. Whilst I also am keen to get my car, I know the wait is going to be worth it! :bowd: :bowd: :bowd:
