just bought an au2 xr8 ute recently with five speed, are there any problems with them i should we wary of? and are the doing anything about those crap factory indash six stackers with tape decks yet, as i`ve replaced mine three times in as many months. also what bolt on stuff can i throw on for some more snot? already done the exhaust???

My dad's got a 2001 AU11 XR8 Ute, and we've had it since new and theres been no problems with it, I find it nice to drive aswell.

With the more power thing, Stroking is a good one and is cheapish.

See if your ute has been back for the recall check for the radiator.

I have a AUII XR8 ute with the 185kw motor in my ute, with just ss inductions cold air induction $350, uni-filter $70, H&M extractors with twin 2 1/2" stainless exhaust with crossover (xbox) $2400 for a total of $2810 got me 166.8rwkw.
An extra $1980 for the oznos nitrous kit installed got me 247.5rwkw.

So all up not that much has been spent for a pretty good gain.
All rwkw were done in shootout mode in 4th.
